Rhoades Oil Company is named after our great-uncle, Ralph Omer Rhoades.  Check out our "About Ralph Rhoades" page for information on his illustrious career as a geologist at Gulf Oil Corporation.

Paul Bezinque, Co-founder :

A Midland native, Paul graduated from Midland Christian School and received his degree in finance from Abilene Christian University. With a background in financial analysis and real estate, he began his career in the petroleum industry in 2009 as an independent landman and started his own land brokerage shortly thereafter. Rhoades Oil Company was founded in 2016 by Paul and his business partner and brother, Joel Bezinque.

Joel Bezinque, Co-founder :

Joel was born and raised in Midland, Texas and attended Midland Christian High School before going to Abilene Christian University.  He graduated from ACU in 2010 and began his career in the Oil & Gas Industry.  He began as a Petroleum Landman for various brokers and went on to work at one of the premier E&P companies in West Texas, Pioneer Natural Resources.  In 2012, he joined a prominent mineral buying company where he specialized in evaluating acreage throughout the Permian Basin.  Joel then decided to venture out and start "Rhoades Oil Company" with his brother, Paul Bezinque.
